» Understanding prevention: children, families and social inclusion All papers still open to download

** Please note - you can still download all papers free of charge, and view all discussions that took place **
Our first online conference draws together policy makers, professionals, academics and children and families concerned with prevention and social inclusion. The conference focuses on the development of a shared understanding of the protective and preventative strategies that achieve inclusion for children and families at risk of experiencing social exclusion. We hope that this will be the first online conference where refereed papers are to be published as part of a special focus edition of a refereed academic journal.
Keynote speakers include: Rt Hon Margaret Hodge, MBE, MP (Barking); Professor Gale Burford (University of Vermont); Professor Alan Dyson (University of Manchester); Mike Little (Dartington Social Research Unit); Professor Anne Edwards (University of Birmingham); Andrew Cozens (ADSS); Erica De'Ath (NCVCCO); Ratna Dutt (Race Equality Unit) and Professor Ted Melhuish (National Evaluation of Surestart)
